I adore theBalm's packaging and think it's absolutely adorable and charming.. I could go on for a while about it but I've said it so many times I don't really think it's needed. So, moving along!
Bahama Mama is packaged in a sturdy cardboard with magnetic closure, like a lot of theBalm's other products. Like I've said before, magnetic closures aren't my favorite but it's quite secure.
Here is what theBalm says about this product on their website..
"Bermuda, Bahama, come on pretty mama... Finally, a Caribbean getaway contained in a compact. This matte bronzer creates beautifully bronzed skin, for a fresh-off-the-beach glow. Our paraben-free formula features mica and silica for sheer yet pigmented color."
They pretty much sum it up! And it's true - it is sheer yet pigmented, however crazy that may sound! Like all the other products I've tried by theBalm I'm impressed! I'm beginning to think that they may be my favorite makeup brand! The formula is wonderful. It's very soft and smooth just like all of their other powder products!
Oh, hey there hairy arm..!
Bahama Mama applies nicely and is easy to blend. And it doesn't lean very orange at all, hallelujah! It's pretty much matte, although as you can see in the swatches it can give off a subtle sheen. It's not noticeable on the face, though. This was love at first swipe.. I used it to contour and fell in love. (I think I've found you, perfect contour!) It also lasts! I hardly even noticed any fading throughout the day!
Oh, Bahama Mama.. What can I say? You've stolen my heart. I can continue to say that theBalm has done nothing but impress me. Bravo theBalm, bravo. And to think at first I wasn't going to purchase this!
