Maybelline Define-A-Brow Eyebrow Pencil
I needed a new eyebrow pencil as my current one is too warm and red for my brows, and it's also not as thin and precise as I would like. I decided to pick up a new one before I go to Boston in November so I ended up picking up this one by Maybelline.
I never really noticed before but once it was something I was specifically looking for I noticed that my Wal-Mart didn't have that great a selection of brow pencils. The ones I found were too thick or just not to my liking.. I had gone in with a few certain pencils in mind only to find they weren't carried there! So it ended up being between Maybelline's Define-a-Brow and a brow pencil by Annabelle. I went with Maybelline since it was cheaper, hehe. I'd also heard good things about it before so that was a plus.
Define-a-Brow comes in six shades: Light Blonde, Light Brown, Medium Brown, Dark Brown, Dark Blonde, and Soft Black.
I have the shade Medium Brown as it was the only shade available.. It's a pretty good match though, and is much cooler and dark then my current pencil.
So this pencil is a twist up, which I like. It comes with a comb on the end but I would have preferred a spoolie! The actual product isn't too waxy nor too dry.. I quite like the formula. It's also very thin and precise so I have no problems filling in or defining the ends of my brows. It applies quite easily and blends well into the brows.
It's not an exact or perfect match for my brows but it's pretty close! With my old pencil if you looked up close you could see it was too warm, but looking up close with Define-a-Brow you really can't see a difference. I think the Dark Brown shade might be an even better match for me but either way I'm very pleased with this product..!
