Revlon Parfumerie Scented Nail Enamel in Autumn Spice Review & Swatches
Today I have something interesting to share with you.. the new Revlon Parfumerie Scented Nail Enamel! They offer quite a good color selection but out of all the shade and scent combinations Autumn Spice stood out to me the most, which is the one I have here.
Let's begin with the packaging! The nail polish is contained in what looks like a cute little perfume bottle. The design is very simple yet elegant, which I really like. Overall it's very aesthetically pleasing and would look really nice displayed on a vanity!
Autumn Spice is a rich brown with tons of copper and bronze shimmers. I used two coats here, but I think that you could get away with using one thicker coat. The formula was great and application was easy, though I did find that the rounded brush handle was a little bit awkward to hold and get used to.. but other than that, I didn't run into any problems.
Now let's get to the good part.. the scent! The scent is revealed once the polish dries so don't go sticking your nose in the bottle haha. As the polish dried I could definitely smell the Autumn Spice scent (it reminds me of a cinnamon and pecan candle that I have!) but it's not too strong nor too subtle. The scent does start to fade with time though, and after a while I could only smell it if I actually went and sniffed my nails.
So, what's the verdict? I like it! The polish itself is great on its own, but the scent adds a fun little extra - I think that it would make a good stocking stuffer!
