Avon Ideal Flawless CC Cream Review
Avon recently came out with their spin on CC Creams, which I have here today to review for you. Their Ideal Flawless CC Color Corrector Cream contains licorice, Vitamin C, and color-correcting pigments and pearls to improve the look of dullness, dark spots, and uneven skin tone. It also has SPF 50 protection.
Out of the five shades available (Light, Light Medium, Medium, Medium Deep, and Deep) I chose Light Medium, since my skin tone is lighter during the winter. The CC Cream comes in the same shade selection as Avon's BB Cream (review here), but the CC Cream's Light Medium shade is a little bit lighter then the BB Cream's. Okay, let's get to performance.. This CC Cream is a little bit thicker in consistency then the BB Cream and blends pretty easily (I use my hands to apply it). It has light to somewhat medium coverage, so while it evens out the skin tone you would still need a concealer to cover up dark spots or under eye circles if you have them; it's pretty much the same as Avon's BB Cream in terms of coverage. This CC Cream also leaves my skin smooth to the touch, gives a really nice and natural finish, and wears well throughout the day. Overall, I like it! It's nice to wear on those days you don't feel like wearing much makeup, or when you just want a non-heavy base. Unfortunately, I haven't been using it long enough to test Avon's claim of fading dark spots in just two weeks, but if I should notice any big improvements I'll report back to you!
PS. If you have oily skin I would definitely try this over the BB Cream as the latter is thinner, more hydrating, has a slightly dewy finish compared to the CC Cream, and can also make you look quite shiny (especially in the heat!).
